Crafted with sustainably sourced Solid American Oak, inspired by a visit to the Meguro Catholic Church designed by Architect Antonin Raymond in 1957 in the Meguro-Ku district of Tokyo, Japan.

Materials: Studio Bastiras works with a range of sustainably sourced materials, comprising of solid American oak, walnut and ash. Our timber is sustainable solid wood from America or Europe, offering long-term durability and repairability of the surface. Natural colour and grain variations in every plank makes each piece individual.
All sealants and finishes are non-toxic and applied by hand, sprayed or rubbed. The Meguro showcases a tactile and luxurious woodgrain detail using a laminated process, the colour palette has been inspired by the iconic LeCorbusier.
